INOclear is designed for professional installation. Its medium-tack adhesive allows for repositioning during fitment while maintaining strong edge hold once cured. We recommend installation by an authorised INOZETEK installer for best results.
Can PPF be applied over repainted panels?
Yes, PPF can be applied over repainted panels provided the paint has fully cured — typically 30 days for water-based paints and 60 days for solvent-based. Always confirm cure time with your painter before installation.

What does PPF protect against?
INOclear protects against stone chips, road debris, minor abrasions, bug acids, bird droppings, UV damage, and light scratches. Its self-healing topcoat erases swirl marks and fine scratches with the application of heat.
How does INOclear compare to INOclear+ and INOmatte?
INOclear is our 7.5mil standard gloss PPF. INOclear+ is an upgraded 8.5mil version offering enhanced thickness for added impact resistance. INOmatte delivers the same level of protection with a satin/matte finish for a distinctive look.
Will PPF stain or yellow over time?
INOclear is engineered with a UV-resistant topcoat that maintains colour stability with ΔE < 2 after 1,000 hours of xenon arc testing. Under normal use and proper maintenance, yellowing is not expected within the warranty period.
Maintenance & Care
How do I maintain my PPF?
Hand wash with a pH-neutral car shampoo. Avoid abrasive cleaners, automatic brush washes, or high-pressure water directed at film edges. Apply a PPF-safe sealant periodically to maintain the hydrophobic properties.
What causes water spots or staining?
Hard water minerals, bird droppings, and tree sap can leave marks if left untreated. The hydrophobic topcoat helps repel most contaminants, but prompt cleaning is recommended. For stubborn spots, use an isopropyl alcohol solution (50% or less).
Can I apply ceramic or graphene coating over PPF?
Yes. INOclear is compatible with most professional-grade ceramic and graphene coatings. Coating over PPF can enhance gloss, hydrophobic performance, and ease of maintenance. Allow the film to cure for 7 days before applying any coating.

What is covered under the warranty?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects including yellowing, bubbling, cracking, and delamination when installed by an authorised dealer and maintained per INOZETEK guidelines. It does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, or accidents.
When can I wash the car after PPF installation?
Wait at least 7 days before washing your vehicle after installation. During this period avoid high-pressure water, automated car washes, and prolonged water exposure to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
What should I avoid after install?
For the first 7 days: avoid car washes, parking in direct sun for extended periods, and applying chemicals to the film. Long-term: avoid abrasive cleaners, petrol spills on the film, and high-pressure washing directly at edges.
